🔥 DAY-SHIFT REGISTERED ECHO TECHNICIAN CONTRACT – NYC HEALTH + HOSPITALS
First Connect Health has an immediate travel contract opening for an experienced Registered Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer in the Bronx (New York City), New York. Operating within Lincoln Hospital Center, this position offers a structured 5x8 daytime schedule (40 hours/week, Monday through Friday). If you are a credentialed Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS) looking to secure a lucrative New York package of $2,965/week with strong tax-free stipends, this assignment is built for you!

- Weekly Gross: $2,965.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $2,325.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $16.00/hr (40 regular hours)
- Overtime Rate: $24.00/hr
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-Hours (Monday through Friday).
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours per week.
- On-Call Requirements: NO ON-CALL REQUIRED!
- Clinical Scope & Responsibilities: Performs comprehensive adult echocardiogram testing, identifies cardiac anatomy and pathology using ultrasound imaging techniques, reports preliminary and significant findings to cardiologists and ordering physicians, documents studies in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and assists with stress echocardiography testing as required.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer is required. Stress testing experience is preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED and completion of an accredited Ultrasound / Echocardiography Program (military training accepted).
- Certifications & Licensure Required:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI (Required).
- American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS / BCLS) certification (Required).
