Description
Job Title: Travel RN – L&D
Location: Alexandria, LA
Facility: Rapides Regional Medical Center – Rapides Women’s & Children’s Hospital
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12 Nights
Pay Breakdown
W2: $26/hr
Weekly Stipend: $1,236
Weekly Gross: $2,172
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in starting IVs and drawing labs
- Fetal strip interpretation
- Proficient in vaginal examinations
- OB circulating experience
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- NRP required
- AWHONN
Facility & Unit Information
- Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 2:1 depending on acuity
- Equipment: Fetal monitors, IUPC, FSE, fluid warmer, IV pumps, epidural pumps
- EMR: CPN, Meditech
- Floating: Closed unit; C/L to Postpartum
Additional Information
- Scrub Color: Teal for nursing staff; Navy for techs
- Rotate every other weekend
- Weekend and on call
