Ultrasound Tech – Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM)
💰 Pay: $70/hr W2 | $2,800/week for 40 hrs
📍 Location: Wilmington, NC 28403
📅 Start: 09/23/2026
📆 Contract: 13 Weeks
☀️ Shift: Days | 5x8 | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
⏰ Hours: 40 Hours/Week
📅 Schedule: Monday – Friday

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound experience – REQUIRED
- Strong Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) scanning experience
- High-Risk OB & Obstetrics experience
- ARDMS OB/GYN
- BLS
- Epic experience – REQUIRED
- GE equipment experience
- Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers may be screened with 2+ years of experience
- Experience with 1st, 2nd & 3rd trimester scanning
- Fetal Anatomical Surveys
- Amniotic Fluid Index (AFI)
- Placenta Previa
- MCA & UA Dopplers
- ViewPoint
- Neonatal Head & Heart imaging
- Fetal Echo experience
MFM / High-Risk OB Experience
Candidates should be comfortable independently performing perinatal scans for high-risk pregnancies, including:
- Level II detailed fetal anatomy scans
- Early anatomy scans
- Growth scans
- Biophysical Profiles (BPP)
- Nuchal Translucency (NT)
- Transvaginal (TV) scans
- MCA & UA Dopplers
- Fetal Echo
- High-risk pregnancy assessments
Patient conditions may include chronic hypertension, gestational diabetes, fetal growth restriction and fetal abnormalities.

- Average Daily Census: Approximately 50

- Patient Population: Adolescents & Adults
- Equipment: GE
- No call
- No floating
- No weekend requirement
- Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions accepted
⚠️ Important: This position requires hands-on MFM/high-risk OB scanning experience.
General ultrasound experience alone may not meet the requirements.
