Description

Radiation Therapist – Paducah, KY

Location: Paducah, KY – 2501 Kentucky Avenue
Start Date: 09/25/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks | End Date: 12/26/2026
Shift: 8-Hour Days, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hrs/week
May occasionally work beyond scheduled hours based on treatment needs.

Key Duties:

Administer ionizing radiation and accurately document treatments.
Assist Radiation Oncologist with simulation and immobilization devices.
Operate/understand CT Simulator and radiation therapy equipment.
Review treatment charts and check for mathematical errors.
Assess patient needs and communicate with Radiation Oncologist.
Educate patients/families and radiation therapy students.
Maintain treatment rooms, supplies, and equipment.

Required:

Associate’s Degree in Radiation Therapy
ARRT – Radiation Therapy
Active Kentucky Radiation Therapy License
BLS
Basic computer and clinical skills.
