Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Polysomnographer/Sleep Technologist to join the Sleep Lab team. The Sleep Technologist will work under the general supervision of the Sleep Lab Medical Director to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of patients with sleep disorders.

The ideal candidate will be an RPSGT-credentialed technologist with strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience performing sleep studies and therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties expected of a qualified sleep technician and RPSGT.
• Conduct in-lab and home sleep testing.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies.
• Assist with evaluation and treatment of various sleep disorders.
• Provide comprehensive patient care throughout the testing process.
• Educate patients regarding sleep studies, procedures, and treatment interventions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot sleep-study equipment.
• Accurately document patient information and study results in Meditech.
• Work collaboratively with the Sleep Lab Medical Director and clinical team.

Required Qualifications

• RPSGT credential required
• Strong experience in sleep studies and polysomnography
• Expert knowledge of the Cadwell System is required
• Ability to perform both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Strong patient-care and communication skills
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts

Traveler Requirement

• In-state travelers will NOT be accepted unless they reside more than 250 miles from the facility.
• Previous travel experience may be preferred depending on facility requirements.

Ideal Candidate: An RPSGT-credentialed Sleep Technologist with expert-level Cadwell System experience who can independently perform comprehensive sleep testing, provide patient education, and deliver high-quality care during overnight shifts.
