LPN – Pediatric LTC | Mountainside, NJ

Location: 150 New Providence Rd, Mountainside, NJ 07092
Shift: Day 3×12 hrs | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Contract: 36 hrs/week | Travel position
Patient Ratio: 1:9 | 63-bed unit | 24 rooms

Requirements:

• 2+ year Pediatric experience AND LTC experience required (adult or pediatric LTC accepted)
• Documented Ventilator & Tracheostomy experience REQUIRED
• Pediatric HH-only experience is not accepted
• First-time travelers NOT accepted
• BLS required; PALS/ACLS preferred
• Epic experience required
• Travel experience required
• LTAC experience preferred

Key Skills: Trach/ventilator care, feeding tubes (G-tube/NG), suctioning, oxygen, BiPAP/CPAP, medication administration, seizure/TBI care, wound care, pressure-ulcer prevention, vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, Foley care, and patient status communication.

Schedule & Other Details:

• Every other weekend required
• 2 of 3 major winter holidays required
• No call / No floating
• Block scheduling not available
• Scrubs: Any color
• Patient population: Infants, Pediatrics & Adolescents
• Daily census: ~56
• Equipment: Ventilators, trachs, feeding tubes, Hoyer lift
