⭐ Position Highlights
- Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Hours: 36–48 hours/week
- Charting: Acute care hospital setting
📋 Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Recent Postpartum nursing experience required
- Ability to float to NICU as an NRP Nurse and support postpartum patients
- Acute care hospital experience preferred
- BSN preferred
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns.
- Perform maternal and newborn assessments while promoting family-centered care.
- Support infant stabilization and collaborate with the NICU team when floating.
- Educate families on newborn care, recovery, breastfeeding, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatric providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
