⭐ Position Highlights

Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours: 36–48 hours/week
Charting: Acute care hospital setting

📋 Requirements

Active RN license in the state of practice
Recent Postpartum nursing experience required
Ability to float to NICU as an NRP Nurse and support postpartum patients
Acute care hospital experience preferred
BSN preferred

Required Certifications

BLS (AHA)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns.
Perform maternal and newborn assessments while promoting family-centered care.
Support infant stabilization and collaborate with the NICU team when floating.
Educate families on newborn care, recovery, breastfeeding, and discharge planning.
Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatric providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
