General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds – 16 Operating rooms

· Number of Staff – we staff one team of RN, SA, surgical tech per OR room running on day shift and taper on evenings. Call on weekends and nights

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – day shift (16 RN’s, 16 SA’s, and 16 surgical techs) evening shift (tapered to 4 teams from 3-5, 2 teams from 5-7 and 1 team from 7-11p. Call starts for additional 2 teams at 3pm.

o Night Shift - call only

· Patient Ratios – 1-1

· Type of equipment – OR equipment. Robotics, neurosurgery, general, plastics, urology, ortho etc.

· EMR - Meditech

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

MUST HAVE

Robotic experience

· Ortho experience

· Neuro/spine

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· All except for transplant and cardiac surgery

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· Virginia License
