Description
Employee Health Support RN
- Hours will be between 0700-1800 Up to 5 days per week. 8 hour shifts.
- Guaranteed 24 hours.
- Openings: 2
Duties:
- Assists with the care and management of the employee's health. Primary focus is support of Employee Health clinics including but not limited to Flu and Respiratory Fit Testing.
- Assists with back up tasks to the Employee Health RN Coordinators as requested only for support of new hires medical clearance review, work injuries, exposures, return-to-work, fitness for duty, organizational requirements and wellness initiatives.
- Supports employee health clinics for Flu and Respiratory fit.
- Supports other Employee Health activities or clinic initiatives.
- Assists in promoting health services to employees that meet established medical standards, OSHA regulations and organizational policies.
- Patricipates in Performance Improvement activities.
- Participates actively on assigned committees or projects, as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Skills:
- Knowledge in Worker's Compensation regulations and claims experience strongly preferred.
- Clinical skills and injections. Ability to run specific clinics and document results in computer. OJT training will be provided for specified software.
Qualifications:
- BSN required.
- Graduated from an accredited nursing school or college.
- Certification in Occupational Health nursing preferred.
- Active, unrestricted California RN license required.
- License must be in good standing throughout employment.
- AHA or equivalent BLS required.
- Three years professional-level experience in clinical nursing required.
- One year of Employee and Occupational Health nursing preferred.
- One year of case management experience preferred.
