PAY PACKAGE

Travel:

• Weekly Gross: $2,853
• Weekly Taxable: $648
• Weekly Non-Taxable: $2,205

Local:

• $70/hr

POSITION DETAILS

• 3+ years of recent CVICU experience required
• Every other weekend required
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• May float to Glenbrook MICU, Evanston ICU, or Highland Park ICU as needed
• Epic experience required
• EKG test required with a passing score of 80% or above
• GB Campus is primarily cardiovascular-focused

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Experience with:

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Multi-system organ failure
• CABG and post-cardiac surgery care
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
• Impella
• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath and interventions
• Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan-Ganz monitoring
• Valve replacement/repair
• LVAD/RVAD
• CVVHD/CRRT
• Arterial and central line management
• PICC line management and IV therapy
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
• Continuous IV sedation and neuromuscular blockade
• CVA/acute stroke management
• Ventilator, BiPAP, CPAP and HFNC management
• ABG interpretation
• Blood product administration
• Infection prevention and isolation precautions

LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS

• Active Illinois RN License
• CPR
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Epic experience
