Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Bluebird Staffing is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time Intermediate & Acute Care position with our direct client in Raleigh, NC.

This opportunity is ideal for an RN with acute care, telemetry, or intermediate care experience who enjoys caring for a diverse patient population in a collaborative hospital environment.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, 36 hours per week
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Approximately 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• 29-bed Intermediate & Acute Care unit
• Telemetry and acute care overflow
• Night shift differential may apply
• Competitive pay based on experience

Patient Population

• Post-operative general and thoracic patients
• Cardiovascular patients requiring drip management
• Cardiac patients with acute exacerbations
• Patients with unstable angina
• Telemetry patients requiring close monitoring

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care
• Assess and monitor patients
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor telemetry and changes in patient condition
• Develop and update patient care plans
• Educate patients and families
• Coordinate care with physicians and the healthcare team
• Assist with discharge planning
• Maintain patient safety and follow hospital policies

Requirements

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Acute care, telemetry, or intermediate care experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
