Compensation & Schedule Details

• Hours & Shift: 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour Night shifts, 1900–0730)
• Contract Length: 13 to 20-week contract options (Auto-offer based on clinical prescreen)

• Target Start Date: September 25, 2026

   

Key Facility Policies & Compliance

• Submission Limits: Candidates may only be submitted for 1 job at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System. All RTO must be included at the time of submission.
• Testing During Orientation: ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate required (2 attempts max to pass). PBDS assessment is waived.
• Background & Rehire Rules: No background check hits with open cases accepted; zero tolerance for license hits. Permanent/per-diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date. BCI/FBI fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of signing.
• Nicotine Policy: Nurses and CSTs are currently exempt from the nicotine-free facility requirement.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• Licensure: Permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at submission.
• Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required active in hand.
• References: One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months is strictly required (no co-worker references).
