We are looking for a confident and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse who thrives in a high-acuity environment and is passionate about delivering safe, patient-centered care.

As an ICU RN, you'll play an essential role in assessing critically ill patients, developing and evaluating individualized care plans, monitoring changes in condition, coordinating treatment, and collaborating closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.

🩺 What You'll Do

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and continuously monitor patient status.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care.
  • Provide direct care and supportive therapies to critically ill patients.
  • Recognize and communicate significant changes in patient condition.
  • Execute delegated medical functions within your scope of practice.
  • Review and monitor treatment and therapy plans.
  • Provide patient and family education, health teaching, and counseling.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate additional evaluation or treatment when clinically indicated.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Utilize available clinical resources to promote safe and effective patient care.
  • Follow professional nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support a positive, patient-centered care environment.
  • Float to other departments when needed, provided the assignment is within your scope of practice, competency, and qualifications.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

🎓 Requirements

Required:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • ASN/ADN from an accredited School of Nursing
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Ability to provide safe, effective nursing care in a critical-care environment

Preferred:

  • Previous ICU/Critical Care experience
  • BSN
  • Additional specialty certification appropriate to the unit
  • ACLS, PALS, or NRP, as applicable to unit/service requirements
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions
