Travel Mammography Technologist | Atlanta, GA
Setting: Comprehensive Women's Breast Care Center
Contract: 16 Weeks | 40 Hours Guaranteed
Dates: September 14, 2026 – January 2, 2027
Schedule: 5x8-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Monday – Friday (No Weekends)
Assignment Snapshot
- Department: Atlanta Main Breast Care Imaging / Women's Center (Atrium Level)
- Acuity & Volume: High-volume outpatient breast health center seeing approximately 100 patients per day; requires strong efficiency, autonomy, and speed
- Equipment & Modalities: Hologic 3D Dimensions systems; comprehensive imaging coverage including 2D/3D Mammograms, Breast Ultrasound, Bone Density (DEXA), and Stereotactic/Ultrasound-guided breast biopsy procedures
- On-Call: None required
- Radius Rule: Must reside 50+ miles from facility zip code (30342)
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent dedicated Mammography experience in a high-volume facility
- Travel History: Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
- Credentials: ARRT(M) with primary ARRT(R) registration
- Certifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS
- Equipment Proficiency: Documented clinical hands-on proficiency with Hologic mammography systems
Holiday Commitment
- Major (2 of 3): Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day
- Minor (1 of 3): Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve
