Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | Nights | 4x12-Hour (Both shifts available) 
Hours: 48 Hours/Week
 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown setting.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and collect relevant clinical data.
• Monitor patient conditions, identify changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes throughout the course of care.
• Manage patients requiring cardiac drips and higher-acuity nursing interventions.
• Provide care and management for patients with dementia.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, medications, and health conditions.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using Epic EMR.

   

Schedule & Shift Details

• Day/Night Shift: 7:00 – 7:30
• 48 Hours per Week (4x12s)
• Every Other Weekend & Holiday Rotation

• No On-Call Requirement

   

Requirements

• 2+ years Med-Surg experience required.
• Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License required.
• NH license must be in hand at profile upload; facility will not pend license.
• Active AHA BLS Certification required.
• Active AHA ACLS Certification required.
• Epic experience required.
• Cardiac drip experience required — must be clearly documented on profile.
• Dementia experience/management required.
• NIHSS strongly preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle; facility is not accessible by public transportation.

• Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
