Description
**THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FULL ***3 YEARS OF RECENT ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED*** NO EXCEPTIONS** *Experience must also include EITHER neuro or CV.*
- *Surgical ICU - Trauma Neuro Surgery
- # Beds 32
- Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:2, 1:1
- Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Level 1 trauma Center, Falls, GSW, blunt trauma, MVAs, trauma patients over age of 15. Ex-lap, crani, speciality neuro-surgery cases. CVA, status post-TPA, COVID, sepsis, ARDS.
- Shifts & Scheduling: Self scheduling. Manager may need to balance shifts for unit needs.
- Floating Requirements Float to tele with a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio as needed.
- ***Radius Rule - 50 miles and no local travelers accepted this time.

I currently have been a traveler nurse for over 5 years. This is my far my favorite traveler experience. Onboarding is very easy. Jane and other communicate well. This was an issue in the beginning of my assignment but Jane quickly and nicely happen the issue. I will definitely do an assignment with this place again.
