Description
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring safe, evidence-based interventions aligned with organizational policies and clinical standards.
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans, evaluating outcomes and adjusting treatment to optimize patient safety and recovery.
- Administer physician and nursing orders promptly, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and advancing quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead discharge planning efforts, collaborating with patients and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe transitions and effective post-acute care planning.
- CVICU Beds: 28
- Scrub Color: Navy
- Other Unit to Float prn: MICU/SICU/Medical or Cardiac Stepdown Units
- EMR: Cerner/COMPASS
- Scope: 80% Cardiac Surgery and 20% Advanced Heart Failure patient population - High Risk Cardiac Surgery to include Open Heart Recovery/Heart Transplants/LVAD Implants/ECMO/Impella/IABP/CRRT; Swan Ganz Catheters/CCO Monitoring.
- Preferred Experience: Cardiac Advanced Device Therapy Management at minimum of IABP/IMPELLA/Swan-Ganz Management
