Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: Full-Time School Physical Therapist in the Cahokia/Sauget, IL Area for the 2026–2027 School Year!

We are currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to support Cahokia School District in Illinois.

Position Details

• Position: School Physical Therapist
• Location: Cahokia/Sauget, IL area
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Pay: $56–$66 per hour
• Start Date: ASAP
• Setting: District-wide school-based position
• Age Group: Elementary through High School
• Caseload: Approximately 40 students
• Travel: PT will travel between district schools as needed

Position Overview

The Physical Therapist will provide school-based physical therapy services to students across the district, supporting children and adolescents from elementary through high school. The PT will travel between school buildings as needed and work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers.

Responsibilities may include evaluations, direct and consultative therapy services, IEP participation, documentation, progress monitoring, and recommendations for equipment, positioning, mobility, and student access within the educational environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current or eligible Illinois Physical Therapist license
• School-based or pediatric physical therapy experience preferred
• Experience working with students with a variety of physical and developmental needs is a plus
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability and willingness to travel between schools within the district
