Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Direct Hire / Permanent

Location: Yuma, AZ

Position Type: Direct Hire / Permanent Full-Time

Setting: Regional Acute Care Medical Center

Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week) | Day Shift & Night Shift Openings Available

Compensation: $33.74 – $50.61 / hour (DOE) + comprehensive hospital benefits

Role Snapshot:

Setting: Full-time hospital-employed position providing complete respiratory care coverage across ICU, Emergency Department, and acute inpatient floors.
Clinical Scope: Ventilator management, arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling/analysis, airway maintenance, intubation support, bronchodilator therapy, and critical code response.
Shift Options: Dedicated 12-hour day and 12-hour night rotations available.

Candidate Requirements:

Credentials: Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential via NBRC (CRT applicants strictly not accepted per facility policy).
Licensure: Active and unrestricted Arizona State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License.
Experience: Minimum 2+ solid years of recent clinical RRT experience in an acute care setting.
Mandatory Certifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Specialty Certification: Active NRP required if you have NICU experience or will be training in the NICU.
Geographic Requirement: Must currently reside 100+ miles away from Yuma, AZ (relocating candidates only).
