• Position: Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) Float Nurse
• Shift: Day shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts/week
• Experience: 2 years required; 1 year listed as minimum
• First-time travelers: Yes
• Patient ratio: 1:4–1:8
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Call: No
• Floating: Yes, within scope as needed

• Locals: No candidates living within 50 miles
• License: Must have license in hand; pending license not accepted
• RTO: 5 days or less preferred
• Charting: Epic

Certifications

• BLS: Required

• NIHSS, TCAR, TCRN: preferred/asterisked requirements depending on facility review

Important Facility Rules

• Must have an active license in hand
• Candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
• Former permanent employees must be separated from Guthrie Healthcare System for at least 1 year before returning as travelers
• Approximately 4 hours of pre-start modules, unpaid/non-billable
• COVID vaccine required; medical exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions allowed

Bottom Line

This is a day-shift MS/Telemetry travel nursing float position with a 7 PM–7:30 AM schedule, every-other-weekend requirement, no call, and a 1:4–1:8 ratio. The biggest requirements are 2 years of experience, BLS, Epic experience, telemetry skills, and having the license already in hand.
