Description
ER RN - Days - 36H; EOW
2yr experience required; first-time travelers accepted with strong ED experience
Start Date: 09/28/26
Contract length: 12 weeks
Shift/Hours: 3x12 Days (08:00-20:30)
License/certs required: RN MD state license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI required
ER Ratio: 1:4, up to 5 with lower acuity
# rooms/beds: 66
Avg census: 200 +/-
Patient Age Range: Neonates to Geriatrics (all ages)
Patient Diagnoses: This is a high volume, fast-paced, non-trauma ER with multiple complex diagnoses
*There is a 10-bed ED hold/Obs unit within the ER department that the ER team staffs. The ratio in the hold/obs setting is space is 1:5, up to 6 with lower acuity. Agency team members may be assigned to this area and rotated amongst staff.
EMR: EPIC, preferred
Weekends: every other weekend required
Holidays: required as they fall, as scheduled
Floating: required within the specialty, including the ER hold/Obs unit within the ER setting as needed
On-call: no pre-scheduled on call shifts required
