Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Requirements:
Active California RN License
Minimum 3 years of ICU/CCU experience
BLS certification
ACLS certification
PALS certification
Negative TB screen within 12 months of contract start date
Ability to occasionally float to cover breaks and assist as needed
Holiday coverage required
Experience with CPSI/Evident EMR

Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to critically ill ICU/CCU patients
Monitor and assess patients' conditions and respond to changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
Manage and monitor patients requiring intensive and critical care
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in CPSI/Evident EMR
Respond to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions
Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies
Assist with break coverage and provide support to other nursing staff as needed
Maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS standards throughout the assignment
Provide holiday coverage as required
