Job Title:

• Pain Physical Therapist

Schedule:

• Day Shift
• Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Pain Physical Therapist in Manhattan, NY with excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, and team player attitude. This provider will be responsible for caring for patients, communicating with other medical team members and maintaining accurate medical records.

Duties including but not limited to:

• Conduct physical therapy assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans for patients with diagnoses including, but not limited to: chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, neurologic conditions, cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, geriatric conditions, and wound care/lymphedema.
• Perform evaluations including, but not limited to: formal musculoskeletal evaluation, Physical Therapy evaluation, General Therapy Screenings, prosthetic and adaptive equipment evaluation and assessment, aquatic therapy, wheelchair seating, pelvic health and positioning, and home evaluations.
• Ability to perform on-site and telehealth-based physical therapy services.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2000 hours of clinical practice directly in chronic pain physical therapy within the past 2 years

OR

• ABPTS Board Certification
• 2 years experience in hospital or ambulatory care experience or equivalent experience in chronic pain management
• Current State License
• BLS – American Heart Association
