Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our acute care rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of acute care experience, particularly in medical/surgical settings, and will be confident working independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.
- Assist with patient mobility, functional activities, and rehabilitation goals under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float between units as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of PTA experience.
- Previous acute care experience required.
- Medical/Surgical experience required.
- Active Washington PTA license required.
- BLS certification required.
- Previous travel experience required.
