Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our acute care rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of acute care experience, particularly in medical/surgical settings, and will be confident working independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.
  • Assist with patient mobility, functional activities, and rehabilitation goals under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float between units as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of PTA experience.
  • Previous acute care experience required.
  • Medical/Surgical experience required.
  • Active Washington PTA license required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Previous travel experience required.
