Location: Horsham, PA
Contract Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with alternating weekends
Hours: 40 hours/week


 

Job Description

We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our team on a contract basis. The Pharmacist will be responsible for safely dispensing medications, counseling patients, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication therapy.

Responsibilities

• Accept, review, and dispense prescription medications.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and potential overuse.
• Ensure medications are dispensed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Verify that prescribed medications are appropriate for patients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient and pharmacy records.
• Counsel patients regarding medications, including dosage, administration, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Provide consultation on prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Provide patient services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management.
• Educate patients on the proper use of medical devices such as glucose meters and blood pressure monitors
