What You'll Do Day-to-Day
As a key member of our clinical team, you will:
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, stretching, balance training, and functional mobility activities
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and proper body mechanics
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR system
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure a safe and clean clinical environment
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare providers to support patient outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active New York State Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Physical & Environmental Demands
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing hands-on therapeutic techniques for extended periods.
- Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist patients with mobility.
