High risk Level III NICU. NRP and STABLE required. 2 year minimum experience experience.
Previous travel exp required
Cert: BLS, NRP, PALS*, STABLE
Charting System: Required Cerner
Patient Ratio Experience: 1:3
This is a NICU Level III RN position. For candidate screening, look for experience in:
- Level III NICU & high-risk deliveries
- Neonates <28 weeks, 29–34 weeks, and >34 weeks
- UAC/UVC, central lines, IV therapy, blood products, phlebotomy
- Ventilator management, HFOV, CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, iNO, ETT suctioning, chest tubes
- Surfactants, IV vasopressors, antibiotics/antivirals, steroids, anti-seizure meds
- APGAR, thermoregulation, developmental care, neonatal dosage calculations
- NEC, sepsis/sepsis workup, NAS, hypoglycemia, hyperbilirubinemia, phototherapy
- Breast/bottle/gavage feeding, breast milk handling, NG/NJ tubes
- Therapeutic hypothermia, lumbar puncture assistance
- Telemetry and isolation/PPE
- Mother/Baby and Pediatrics experience is preferred.
