Description
CVOR- Surgical Technicial
Unit: CVOR, embedded within the General OR
Shift: 8-hour days, primarily starting at 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday
Guaranteed: 40 hours/week
Call: Required, approximately 10–15 days/month, including weeknights and weekends
Call response: 15 minutes
Orientation: 1 week
Charting: Epic
BLS: Required
BSN: Not required
License: Required at submission
Clinical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to:
- Scrub open-heart/CV procedures
- Handle CABG, vascular, and lung cases
- Work effectively in a general OR
- Cover cases in ortho, general, ENT, urology, etc., when CV volume is low
Important: This is not a CV-only position. The facility specifically needs techs who can transition to other surgical specialties when cardiovascular cases aren't available.

- Same schedule week-to-week
- Some ability to self-schedule call
- Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call as needed
- Call requirement: 10–15 total days/month
