Job Overview

• Travel RN position in Bryson City, North Carolina
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• One opening

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• PICC/CVC management
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience

Clinical Details

• Medical-surgical progressive care setting
• Float potential between Swain and Harris Regional on Med-Surg or equivalent nursing experience
• Weekend rotation may be accommodated if needed
• No call required
• Patient ratio: 1:6 maximum
• Adult patient population, mostly 65+
• Must have experience with PICC/CVC management and wound care

Additional Notes

• 17-bed unit in a critical access hospital
• Inpatient, observation, and swing bed services
• No surgeries performed in the building
