Travel RN – Pediatric CVICU / Float Pool

🚨 CRITICAL Float, Compliance & RTO Details

• Heavy Float Expectations (Geographic & Clinical): Candidates must be willing to float across four campus locations (Main in Phoenix, Arrowhead in Glendale, Avondale, and East Valley in Gilbert) and clinically float between the NICU and PICU.
• Extended Duration: This is a rare 26-week (6-month) contract running from September 28, 2026, through March 27, 2027.
• Vaccination & Masking Protocol: COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not strictly required. Flu vaccination is required from October through April. Approved exemptions require signing a declination agreement and mandatory masking throughout the entire respiratory virus season.
• RTO Policy: Only Requested Time Off (RTO) explicitly discussed and approved during the interview will be honored.

Contract Details

• Location: Phoenix, AZ (with required floating to Glendale, Avondale, and Gilbert)
• Length: 26 Weeks
• Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) or Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) (Shift preference will be finalized during the clinical interview).

Requirements & Experience

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Pediatric CVICU.
• Preferred Experience: Strong preference for candidates with Level III or IV NICU experience, prior experience floating to the NICU/PICU, and a background in a dedicated children's hospital.
• Education: ADN, BSN, or Nursing Diploma accepted.
• Licensure: Active Arizona (AZ) or multi-state Compact RN license.
• Required Certifications:
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA PALS
• Preferred Certification: NRP
