Travel RN – Pre-Surgery Assessment / Outpatient Surgery
Location: Atlanta, GA
Contract Length: 16 Weeks (09/21/2026 – 01/09/2027)
Shift: 4x10-Hour Days (Mon–Fri, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM | No Weekends)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Position Overview:
High-volume outpatient surgical service center in Atlanta seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 16-week pre-surgery clinic assignment. Focuses on preoperative clinical assessments, patient workups, education, and IV placement. Med-Surg RNs with strong peripheral IV skills will be considered.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of recent acute/outpatient pre-op surgical or acute Med-Surg experience with strong IV skills
- Active Georgia or Compact multi-state RN license
- Required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS
- Radius Rule: Permanent residence must be 50+ miles from the facility (travelers only)
Holiday Expectations:
- 2 Major Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day
- 1 Minor Holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve
