Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)

📍 Location: West Bloomfield, MI 48322
🏥 Department: Emergency Department (ED)
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks | Option to Extend

📜 License: Active Michigan RN License Required

Shift: 3 × 12-Hour Shifts
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

📋 Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience
BSN required
Active Michigan RN license
BLS and ACLS required
TNCC preferred

Phone Interview – The hiring manager will contact the candidate directly.

🩺 Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring of patient conditions.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing protocols.
Respond promptly to emergent and critical patient situations.
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
