Med Surg RN – PRN | Nights

📍 Location: Sylmar, CA
📅 Start Date: ASAP
🕐 Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts
📋 Schedule: PRN | Minimum 2 shifts per week
⏳ Contract: PRN / Ongoing
💰 Weekly Gross: $1,274/week based on 24 hours

Position Details

• Minimum 2 shifts per week or as needed
• 12-hour night shifts
• Candidates should be fully committed to a PRN/per diem assignment
• No on-call requirement
• Float required based on facility needs

• Patient ratios follow California state guidelines

   

Requirements

• Active CA RN License
• 1+ year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Recent Med Surg experience must be in a community-based acute care hospital
• AHA BLS
• MAB or CPI
• LA City Fire & Life Safety Card

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to Medical-Surgical patients
• Care for patients with pre/post-op, respiratory, cardiac, infectious, diabetic, GI, and orthopedic conditions
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor patient progress
• Educate patients and families
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team

• Pay Cycle: Sunday–Saturday

💰 Pay Package

• Regular Rate: $45.50/hr
• OT Rate: $68.25/hr
• 24 hours/week: $1,274 gross/week
• No per diem or lodging
