Description
- Assess patients and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.
- Administer medications, IVs, injections, and treatments as ordered.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and catheter care.
- Manage post-operative and medical patients.
- Monitor patients for changes and report abnormal findings to physicians.
- Perform head-to-toe assessments and document patient status.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Assist with ADLs such as bathing, feeding, mobility, and toileting.
- Manage pain and provide appropriate interventions.
- Collect specimens and perform/assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Educate patients and families about medications, treatment, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection-control and patient-safety protocols.
- Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
