Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Start Date: September 24, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 12-Hour
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Positions: 2
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg setting.
- Perform patient assessments and collect relevant clinical data.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, identifying and reporting changes promptly.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Start and maintain IV therapy and perform other nursing procedures as required.
- Change dressings and provide wound care according to orders and facility protocols.
- Insert and manage urinary catheters as indicated.
- Adjust and monitor specialized medical equipment as needed.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications and treatments.
Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
Requirements
- 1+ year of recent Med/Surg experience required.
- Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License required.
- AHA BLS Certification required.
- NIH Certification required.
- Recent travel nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to safely administer medications and perform routine nursing procedures.
- Local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate.
