🔥 HIGH-GROSS DAY-SHIFT EP TECHNOLOGIST CONTRACT – NYC TEACHING MEDICAL CENTER
First Connect Health has an immediate 12-week travel contract opening for an experienced Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech) in the Bronx, New York. Operating within the EP Lab at Montefiore Hospital (Moses Campus), this high-paying position offers a structured 5x8 daytime schedule (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday). If you are a credentialed RCES technologist looking to earn a premium New York package of $3,600/week with max tax-free stipends, work with Epic EMR, and benefit from a strict no-call-off policy, this assignment is built for you!
💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE
- Weekly Gross: $3,600.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $3,000.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $16.00/hr (37.5 regular hours)
- Overtime Rate: $24.00/hr
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-Hours, Monday through Friday.
- Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours guaranteed weekly.
- Cancellation Protection: Dedicated "No Call Off" policy in place (14 days written cancellation notice).
- On-Call Requirements: Standby call rate is $10.00/hr ($160.00/hr call-back rate).
- Clinical Scope & Responsibilities: Operates electrophysiology recording systems, mapping equipment, and stimulators; assists cardiac electrophysiologists during complex diagnostic and interventional EP studies, ablations, and cardiac device implantations; documents procedural steps accurately in the EMR.
- EMR Charting System: Epic EMR.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical EP Lab Technologist experience in an acute care setting is required.
- Licensure: Active New York State License required (facility is willing to wait for license).
- Certifications Required:
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) issued via CCI.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
