🔥 DAY-SHIFT CATH LAB TECHNOLOGIST CONTRACT – GREATER BOSTON AREA MEDICAL CENTER

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening (with strong likelihood of extension to 26 weeks) for an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (Radiologic Technologist) in Lowell, Massachusetts. Operating within a 400–430 bed acute care hospital, this position offers a structured 4x10 daytime schedule (07:00 AM - 17:30 PM / 7am - 5:30pm, scheduled Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri with Thursdays off). If you are an ARRT (R) credentialed technologist proficient in fluoroscopy table operation, scrubbing, and hemodynamic monitoring across interventional cardiology procedures, this assignment offering $3,448/week is built for you!

Hourly W2 Rate: $40.00/hr (40 regular hours)
Overtime Rate: $62.25/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours (07:00 AM - 17:30 PM / 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday — Thursdays and most weekends off).
Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
Contract Length: 13 weeks (high likelihood of extending to another 13 weeks).
On-Call Requirements: Standby call required (1 night per week and 1 weekend per month; additional call available if desired). Strict 30-minute arrival response time mandatory for emergency STEMI coverage. Call rate is $10.00/hr ($130.00/hr call-back rate).
Clinical Scope & Responsibilities: Operates fluoroscopy imaging equipment and the procedure table directly with the attending physician (no fellows on site). Performs sterile first-assist scrubbing, records hemodynamic/physiologic data, and assists across diagnostic cardiac caths, angioplasty, pacemakers, electrophysiology, and peripheral vascular interventions.
EMR Charting System: Cerner EMR.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist / Cath Lab Tech.
Licensure: Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License required at submittal.
Certifications Required:
- ARRT (R) – Registered Technologist in Radiography (Strict requirement to operate Cath Lab fluoroscopy in MA; RCIS is not accepted). Advanced certs like ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) welcome.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
