Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: Full-Time Paraprofessional in Colorado Springs, CO for the 2026–2027 School Year!

We're currently seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals to support students in the Colorado Springs, CO area for the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Details
- Position: Paraprofessional
- Location: Colorado Springs, CO
- Dates: ASAP – May 28, 2027
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Pay: Up to $28 per hour
- Age Group: Early Childhood through High School, depending on assignment
- Caseload: Varies based on classroom and student assignment
- Setting: School-based, in-person

- Preschool
- Resource
- CSD – Communication & Social Development
Specific school, age group, and classroom assignment will be determined based on district needs and candidate fit.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom and individualized support to students with special education needs
- Assist students with academic activities and implementation of classroom instruction
- Support behavioral, social-emotional, communication, and functional goals as needed
- Follow teacher direction and assist with implementation of IEP accommodations and supports
- Help students with classroom routines, transitions, and participation throughout the school day
- Provide supervision and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment
- Assist with daily living or personal care needs when required by the assigned classroom or student population
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and other school team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred
- School-based, special education, behavioral, childcare, or paraprofessional experience is a plus
- Ability to work effectively with students with varying academic, behavioral, communication, and functional needs
- Strong communication, patience, reliability, and teamwork skills
- Must meet all district and state requirements for school-based paraprofessional employment
