• 8-week contract
• 36 hours
• Shift: Days: Weekends and Holidays *No Block Scheduling*
• Patient ratios (if known):
• Within Guidelines of CA law.
• Float Requirements:
• Is RTO Accepted? What is the Max: RTO will be at the discretion of the scheduling Nurse Manager and not guaranteed.
  • During assignment period, time-off in weeks or during observed holidays(s) cannot be pre-approved.
• On Call Requirement: NO
• Certs: AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City)
• License: Active CA RN License
• If the CA License is expired, it will need to be renewed
• If applying for a CA License, please call the senator's office to expedite the application
• Will accept local travelers
• COVID Vaccine Requirement: Covid vaccination + booster if eligible is a must

Experience:

• 2 years of recent OR RN experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility in a metropolitan city with a diverse population.
• Comprehensive experience in Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Colorectal, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic, and General Surgery
• Circulating and assisting during a wide range of surgical procedures, with an understanding of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and OR protocols across multiple specialties for elective, urgent and emergent patient cases.
