Description
Position: Emergency Department (ED) RN
Start Date: October 19
Shift: Night — 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts/week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/weekRequirements
- 2+ years ED experience
- Some Pediatric (PEDS) experience
- Travel nursing experience required
- Updated resume showing ED + travel experience
- Skills checklist matching ED specialty
- Valid driver’s license with matching address
- Active NY RN license
- Nursys verification for NY + all RN licenses
- RTO required at submission
Required Certifications
Must be current and in hand:
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
Other Details
- EMR: Epic required
- Local candidates: Accepted if within 75 miles; local rate applies
- Charge RN experience: Highly preferred
- Floating: Required
- Scrubs: Navy blue
- Block scheduling: Not guaranteed
ED Unit
64 beds: 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, 6 psych
Patients: Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics
Common cases: Stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure
Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
