Description
Position: ICU RN
Shift: Night — 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts/week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Requirements
- 2+ years ICU experience required
- ICU experience can include:
- SICU
- CTICU
- Trauma ICU
- Medical-Surgical ICU
- Neuro ICU
- 4–5 years ICU preferred
- Travel nursing experience required
- CRRT + Prismaflex experience required
- Cardiac/heart experience highly preferred
- Updated resume + skills checklist
- Valid driver’s license with matching address
- Active NY RN license
- Nursys verification for NY + all active RN licenses
- RTO required at submission

- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS

ICU Unit
42 beds total:
- 22 Neuro/Medical
- 6 CTICU
- 14 Surgical/Trauma
Common cases: Stroke, sepsis, altered mental status, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiac surgery, cardiogenic shock, AAA surgery, trauma, major post-op patients.
Equipment: CRRT (Prisma/NxStage), IABP, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM/Arctic Sun.
Floating: May float to other units except Behavioral Health and ER (unless ER is holding patients).
