Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical-Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to adult oncology patients in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

Assess and monitor oncology and medical-surgical patients.
Administer medications, chemotherapy-related treatments, IV therapies, and other treatments as ordered and within scope.
Monitor patients for changes in condition, treatment reactions, and complications.
Provide wound care and other routine nursing interventions.
Manage pain and provide supportive patient care.
Collaborate with physicians, oncology teams, and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.

Active RN license. BLS certification required. Previous Medical-Surgical and/or Oncology experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
