Position Details
- Role: RN-Tele
- Facility: Dignity Health, Yavapai Regional Medical Center West
- Location: 1003 Willow Creek Rd, Prescott, AZ 86301
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (with possible extension)
- Shift: (3x12) Day shift (7:00 am - 7:00 pm)
- hours: 36 hours per week
RN – Telemetry | Cardiac/Medical – 3rd Floor

- Patient Ratio: 1:5

Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
Common Diagnoses / Patient Population
- CHF
- COVID/Respiratory conditions
- GI conditions
- Diabetes
- Telemetry patients
- Post-cardiac catheterization patients
- Total joint replacement patients
Required Experience & Skills
- Ability to read and interpret basic telemetry strips
- Experience caring for patients with CVA/TIA
- Experience with total joint replacement
- Cerner experience strongly recommended, as the unit provides only 1 day of orientation
- RNs are required to interpret telemetry strips and sign off on them at least once per shift
Drips
- RNs are not required to titrate drips
- The unit may administer Diltiazem (Cardizem) drips at a set rate
