• Pay: Up to $5,532.44 per week

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status, behaviors, and treatment responses.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Respond appropriately to crisis situations and behavioral emergencies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to support patient recovery and safety.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment while promoting patient dignity and well-being.
• Accurately document patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Nevada RN License (or compact license if applicable).
• Minimum 2 years of recent Behavioral Health/Psychiatric RN experience required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Experience working with adult psychiatric and behavioral health populations.
• Knowledge of de-escalation techniques, crisis intervention, and behavioral management strategies.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or equivalent certification.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatric, acute behavioral health, or crisis stabilization settings.
