Description
Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Day Shift
- Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 06:30 – 19:00 | 36 Hours Per Week
- Weekend & Holiday Protocol: Assigned as needed based on department operational demand.
- Orientation Structure: 1st week classroom training + two 12-hour floor orientation shifts (12 non-billable orientation hours).
- On-Call Protocol: No on-call or standby requirements (NO CALL).
- Floating Protocol: Required to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Burn Unit as needed.
- Candidate Eligibility & System Separation Rules [HARDSTOP]:
- Radius Rule: Local candidates residing within 50 miles are strictly ineligible (Driver's License required at submission to verify distance).
- Health System Exclusion: Candidates currently or recently employed (FTE, Part-Time, or PRN) with any affiliated health system network within the past 12 months are strictly ineligible.
- Mandatory Orientation Testing & Dress Code Policy [HARDSTOP]:
- Skills Exam: Must pass an open-book skills exam with a minimum score of 90% on Friday of orientation. Failure results in immediate contract termination.
- Fingernail Policy: Artificial nails are strictly prohibited in all patient care areas. Refusal to remove artificial nails will lead to immediate contract termination.
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue.
- Assignment Duration: 15-Week Contract (09/28/2026 Start) | 1 Open Position (Requisition #1170670)
Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]
- Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1+ year of clinical Med-Surg RN experience in an acute care setting.
- EMR Proficiency [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical documentation experience in Epic EMR is mandatory.
- Licensure Requirements [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active State RN License or active eNLC Multistate Compact RN License (License to submit accepted if eligible).
- Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
- Submission Administrative Profile Requirements: Driver's license uploaded at submission to verify address >50 miles from facility.
