⚡ AUTO-OFFER NIGHT-SHIFT ICU RN CONTRACT – PROVIDENCE PORTLAND MEDICAL CENTER

First Connect Health has an immediate 26-week travel contract opening for an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Portland, Oregon. Operating within a high-acuity 36-bed critical care unit at Providence Portland Medical Center (a 418-bed acute care teaching hospital), this position offers a structured 3x12 overnight schedule (19:00 PM - 07:00 AM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). 💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

Weekly Gross: $2,407.00
Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,687.00
Hourly W2 Rate: $20.00/hr (36 regular hours)
Overtime Rate: $30.00/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-Hours (19:00 PM - 07:00 AM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Block scheduling is not offered.
Contract Length: Extended 26-week contract providing excellent scheduling stability.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend (EOW) rotation.
On-Call Requirements: NO ON-CALL REQUIRED!
Clinical Scope & High-Acuity Care: 36-bed ICU averaging 24 patients daily. Ratios are 1:1 or 1:2 based on patient acuity. Care spans ARDS with proning protocols, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), VV ECMO, VAD/IABP, unstable post-cath lab interventions, therapeutic hypothermia, arterial lines, central lines, and titration of vasoactive/cardiac and neuromuscular blockade infusions.
Floating Requirements: Regional system floating across Providence sister facilities (Milwaukie, Newberg, Hood River, Willamette Falls, St. Vincent, and Seaside). Note: Floating to Seaside includes a +$5/hr pay incentive, IRS mileage reimbursement, and lodging accommodations for consecutive shifts.
EMR & Dress Code: Epic EMR (required); any color scrubs permitted; free on-site parking.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical adult ICU RN experience in an acute care setting (strong candidates with 1+ years screened for review). First-time travelers accepted!
Licensure: Active Oregon RN License or Compact/NLC Multistate License strictly required in hand at submittal.
Certifications Required: * American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- CCRN is preferred.
Transportation Requirement: Must have a reliable vehicle for potential travel/floating between regional campuses.
Rehire Policy: Former Providence staff may return as travelers after a 3-month separation.
