Travel RN – Med Surg/Peds | Nights
Seeking a Med Surg/Peds Travel RN for an acute-care assignment with 48 guaranteed hours/week.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- BLS & PALS required
- BSN not required
- Active license eligible for submission
- MEDITECH experience preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability
Unit Details:
- 17 beds: 14 inpatient + 3 observation
- Adult & pediatric patients
- Ratios: Days 1:4 | Nights 1:5
- Common diagnoses: UTI, AMS, pneumonia, COPD
- No routine drip titration
- Occasional BiPAP managed primarily by RT
- Navy blue scrubs
Schedule:
- 12-hour nights (7p–7a)
- Self-scheduling
- Weekends as needed
- No holiday requirement
- May float to ED/ICU for 1:1 patients as needed
- 1 shift of unit-specific orientation
Important: 50-mile radius rule applies. Candidate cannot currently be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facility. Up to 7 days of RTO must be submitted upfront.
