Description
Cath Lab RN – McLaren Northern Michigan
Specialty: Cath Lab
Experience: 2+ years of RN Cath Lab experience required
License: Active Michigan RN license
Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS
Call: Approximately 1 night per week
Weekend Call: Typically every 4th–6th weekend
Weekend Call Window: Friday 5:30P through Monday 7:00A
Float: Required to any area the RN is qualified to work
Call Expectations
Candidates must be comfortable with a significant Cath Lab call rotation.
- Approximately 1 weekday night of call per week
- Weekend call every 4–6 weeks
- Weekend call runs Friday 5:30P–Monday 7:00A
Important Attendance Policy
McLaren Northern has a strict 3-strike attendance policy.
A traveler may be immediately terminated after 3 occurrences involving:
- Missing a scheduled shift
- Arriving more than 20 minutes late
Documented circumstances such as hospitalization or a communicable illness may be reviewed as exceptions.
Additional Traveler Requirements
- Travelers must make up any call-in shifts within the contract period
- Travelers may be floated to other areas where they are clinically qualified
- Travelers are not eligible for facility shift incentives
