🔥 DAY-SHIFT CARDIAC CATH LAB RN CONTRACT – TOPEKA, KANSAS

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) in Topeka, Kansas. Operating within the interventional Cath Lab at The University of Kansas Health System – Saint Francis Campus, this position features a desirable 4x10 daytime schedule (07:30 AM - 17:30 PM / 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM). 💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

  • Weekly Gross: $2,486.00
  • Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246.00
  • Hourly W2 Rate: $31.00/hr (40 regular hours)
  • Overtime Rate: $46.50/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours (07:30 AM - 17:30 PM / 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM, 4 days per week). Block scheduling is not offered.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
  • On-Call Requirements: Standby on-call rate is $5.00/hr (call-back rate is billable at 1.5x / $135.21/hr).
  • Work Setting & Procedural Scope: Interventional cardiac catheterization suite. Responsibilities include circulating diagnostic and interventional procedures, administering and monitoring moderate/procedural sedation, continuous hemodynamic monitoring, and acute dysrhythmia interpretation and intervention.
  • Caseload Types: Adult diagnostic catheterizations, Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), and Swan-Ganz / pulmonary artery line monitoring.
  • Floating Scope: Travelers are expected to float to like units within clinical scope if operationally required (brief unit orientation provided).

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience is required. First-time travelers accepted!
  • Licensure: Active Kansas RN License or Compact/NLC Multistate License strictly required in hand at submittal.
  • Certifications Required: * American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) — in hand
    • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) — in hand
  • Radius Rule: Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility are strictly ineligible (local candidates not accepted).
