Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Weekend: Every Other Weekend
Experience Required: 2+ Years

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join an acute-care nursing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of L&D experience and be confident providing comprehensive care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to labor and delivery patients.
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout the labor process.
Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care according to facility protocols.
Recognize and respond promptly to changes in maternal or fetal status.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and communicate changes in condition effectively.
Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.
Work scheduled night shifts and participate in the every-other-weekend rotation.

Required Certifications

BLS – Basic Life Support
ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
